Bright cherry, cedar, and, chocolate on the nose with hints of marjoram mysteriously asserting itself in the background.
The McDuffee Cab is once again a crown jewel, reflecting the bliss of the 2012 vintage. Balanced, quaffable and dear to our hearts.
McDuffee Vineyard lies in the very southeastern corner of our unique AVA in the Mill Creek Valley. Cool nights and blazing hot days create Cabernet that ages well without heavy-handed oak.
This is a bright, feminine Cabernet Sauvignon. Extremely versatile.
Bone dry. A white blend from high elevation slopes above Lyle and White Salmon. Aromas of green apples, pears, and dried apricots.
On the palate, the flavors represent a mélange of fruits that are underscored by white grapefruit, peach stone, pear skin and saline minerals.
40 year old organic own-rooted Riesling dominates the background of this crisp white wine.
Edelzwicker is the common name for these types of Alsatian blends.
At first approach the bouquet is full of vanilla and blackberry taking over the palette.
Soft strawberries shine through accompanied with a hint of lemon peel. Notes of tart plum and ground white pepper on the finish.
This wine has a wonderful balance of acidity and flavor profile and is a spectacular portrait of such a wonderful 2012 vintage.
Brambles, blueberries and plums lead the intoxicating aroma. Mulberry flavors take over in the mid palate and lend their mystique to the smooth and lingering mouthfeel. 21 months of neutral oak barrel aging has created a balanced Merlot that isn’t over-powered by the might oak. Subtle. A truly beautiful wine that we are proud to share with you!
Hillside is one of our favorite Gorge vineyards to make wine from. The steep slopes are challenging for 2 and 4-legged creatures, but the vines sink their toes straight into the dark earth and thrive. South facing slopes ripen these beautiful old vines to perfection. Hot days and cool nights yield a Merlot that has a boisterous fruit profile with a proud acid backbone.
Our fourth vintage of this beautiful gem of a white Rhône-style wine yields up bursts of tart pineapple, mandarin, beeswax and mineral. Meyer lemon and hints of dandelion flower linger on the tongue for a long finish.
Each flavor layers upon the other to capture the vintage and create a true portrait of the terroir that we have come to love at Boushey Vineyards.
Pierre has been with us since the beginning and the 2012 is a spectacular example of the wines we strive to bring to your table.
Juicy blackberry, cranberry, cedar, and dusty raspberry flavors marry with balanced tannins and a long finish that compliments savory and sweet alike.
Pierre is a crowd pleaser!
Black Dot is where it all started. Back in 2004, three friends
experimented with red wine blends. Unfortunately, they were terrible
note-takers. With each new harvest, we strive to recreate the first
magical vintage that contained grape varieties no one can remember.
Thus, the blend for Black Dot changes every year. An experiment in
non-conventional wine making, Black Dot proudly breaks the rules.
Non-rafiné, non filtré, non-apologies!
